On March 4th, the French PsychedeliCare team hosted its launch event, bringing together psychiatrists, journalists, authors, and researchers for an evening to discuss the role of psychedelics in French society. The event provided an opportunity to revisit the historical connections between France and these substances (Zoë Dubus) and to open a debate on society’s perspective (Myriam Beaugendre, Benjamin Billot, Julie Dachez, and Dominique Nora) as well as the therapeutic dimension (Alexandre Alt, Amine Benyamina, Fred Bladou, Aurélie Lucas Duguey, and Vincent Verroust).
